I'm in love with this quote
"if you don't let people experience the consequences of their actions towards u, you will remain a safe place for their worst behavior"
the weird thing about reading so much as a child and gaining a huge vocabulary from that is I can't define a lot of words i use, i just…know that they would fit correctly in a specific sentence. does anyone else experience that 😭?
One of the sweetest things about parenthood must be watching your child develop their own little personality, their own humour, their own interests and their own way of seeing the world.
My story is messy, raw, and real. It's filled with moments
I wish I could erase. But it's also a story of resilience, finding peace in the chaos, and discovering a grace that saved me.
I had a conversation with a friend the other day about how easy it is to overlook our blessings. The constant pursuit of MORE often distracts us from appreciating what we already have and how far we’ve come.
I have such a deep love for anybody who shows up for me. People don’t have to take time out of their day or life to celebrate you, support you or be there for you… so when they chose to do so, it means a lot.
i didn’t realize how strong i was until i became somebody’s mama. you can cry, be tired, have a bad day, feel like you don’t know what the hell you’re doing… and still gotta get up and be mama. these kids need you even when you’re barely holding it together. you can love being a mother with everything in you and still admit it’s some of the hardest sht you’ve ever done. both can be true. 💕
