I still have a long way to go, but one thing I do know...is I don't think I can ever truly forgive my sister (she's never apologized for it) but even if she did, I don't think I could bring myself to. I'd want to, but can't.

I didn't have a physically abusive mother (she was just incredibly neglectful, love my mom but to an extent. That's how far she's driven me.)

Instead, I had an abusive older sister who practically treated me as if me simply existing was the worst thing to have ever happened.

We talk, we're close(ish) but I don't really see her as my sister anymore, I can't. I just can't bring myself to look at her the same, I love her, but to an extent. I gave her my endless patience even when I'd fight back, but she took it for granted. And now I'm just..done.
