NewsClick नाम के मीड‍िया संस्‍थान पर द‍िल्‍ली पु��‍िस ने छापा मारा. बताया गया क‍ि ये संस्‍थान देश व‍िरोधी गत‍िव‍िध‍ि में ल‍िप्‍त है.

एंकर चीखने लगे- भारत व‍िरोधी एजेंडा चलाने के ल‍िए NewsClick को चीन से फंडिंग हो रही है.

NewsClick के माल‍िक प्रबीर पुरकायस्थ को ग‍िरफ्तार कर जेल में डाल द‍िया गया. वो करीब 7 महीने जेल में रहे.

अब इस मामले में दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने NewsClick और उसके माल‍िक प्रबीर पुरकायस्थ के खिलाफ हुई FIR और ED की ECIR को रद्द कर द‍िया है.

कोर्ट ने कहा कि ऐसी FIR को जारी रखना कानून की प्रक्रिया का घोर दुरुपयोग है.

NewsClick वो संस्‍थान है ज‍िसने क‍िसान आंदोलन पर बहुत खबरें की थीं. ये संस्‍थान लगातार सरकार से सवाल करता था.

मैंने भी NewsClick के ल‍िए कई र‍िपोर्ट की थीं. संपादकीय टीम की तरफ से कभी नहीं कहा ग��ा क‍ि सरकार की कम‍ियां नहीं द‍िखानी हैं. आपके पास तथ्‍य हैं, तो वो छपेंगे.

शायद सरकार को NewsClick की यही बात हजम नहीं हो रही थी. कोई मीड‍िया संस्‍थान सरकार से सवाल कैसे कर सकता है.

इसके बाद सरकार ने NewsClick पर अपनी पुल‍िस और ED छोड़ दी. हालांक‍ि सत्‍य की जीत होनी थी, और वही हुआ है अब.

आज चुनाव आयोग पर जो हुआ, पूरी कहानी 👇

पहले घंटों तक कांग्रेस के सांसद, पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री, पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री चुनाव आयोग के गेट पर खड़े रहे.

गेट पर मौजूद सुरक्षाकर्मियों से कहा कि उन्हें अंदर जाने दिया जाए, उन्हें जरूरी एप्लिकेशन देनी है. इसके बाद भी कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई.

आखिरकार कांग्रेस का डेलिगेशन चुनाव आयोग के गेट पर ही धरने पर बैठ गया. इसके बाद चुनाव आयोग के अधिकारी न���ंद से जागे.

फिर चुनाव आयोग ने कांग्रेस की एप्लिकेशन रिसीव की, जो मीनाक्षी नटराजन के नामांकन को रद्द करने से जुड़ी थी.

सोचने वाली बात है - क्या BJP का कोई सांसद या मंत्री चुनाव आयोग से मिलने आता तो उसके साथ यही बर्ताव होता?

मुझे लगता है ज्ञानू दौड़ता हुआ गेट तक आता और कंधे पर बैठाकर अंदर ले जाता.

सार्थक 18 साल का है - पर सोच, साहस और सिद्धांत में किसी से कम नहीं।

उसने और उसके साथी निसर्ग ने वो कर दिखाया जो देश के बड़े मीडिया हाउस, खोजी पत्रकार नहीं कर पाए - CBSE और COEMPT की मिलीभगत को देश के सामने रख दिया।

मोदी जी चाहते हैं हमारे युवा reels बनाते रहें, पकौड़े तलते रहें, सवाल न पूछें, आँखें न खोलें। पर इन बच्चों ने सवाल भी पूछे। और जवाब भी ढूँढ निकाले।

देश का 18 साल का बच्चा CBI से तेज़ निकला - नौजवानों की ये जीत सही मायने में सरकार की हार है।

यही है भारत की असली युवा शक्ति - जिज्ञासु, जागरूक, जानकार। और याद रखिए, देश का भविष्य किसी बहकावे में नहीं आएगा।

Why was the CBSE OSM contract handed to COEMPT - a company already mired in controversy under its old name, Globarena? On whose orders was it done? Why were no background checks done? What is the connection between COEMPT’s management and the Modi government?

Either you ran a background check and went ahead anyway - or you didn’t run one at all. Either way, you are complicit.

As for responsibility - if the PM cared, he should have sacked you long ago for ruining the futures of lakhs of students.

CBSE called for OSM tenders thrice. Zero bids the first time. No qualified bidder the second time. And finally, the technical bar was lowered until COEMPT could clear it.

Scanning resolution cut. Robotic scanner requirement dropped. CMMI certification lowered from Level 5 to Level 3. Penalties for errors in answer sheets removed.

TCS, India’s biggest IT services company, qualified in the third round too. TCS lost. COEMPT - a company with a spectacular track record of failure - won.

And what are CBSE students complaining about today? Badly scanned answer sheets. Missing pages. A broken evaluation portal.

Teachers had warned CBSE that the OSM system needed at least a year or two for further preparation before nationwide implementation, yet it was rushed through.

So I ask again - who wanted COEMPT to win? Who lowered the bar, step by step, until this company could clear it?

Pradhan ji and CBSE say “due process was followed.” That is not an answer, that is not accountability. The question is whether the contract was honestly awarded to the best company which could do the job correctly.

The futures of 18.5 lakh children were handed to a company that could only qualify after the rules were bent for it.

To the BJP Ministers attacking me for asking questions - I have, from day one, demanded an independent judicial probe. Expand it from CBSE to every contract awarded to COEMPT. Our youth deserve the truth.

And Modi ji, your silence on the CBSE debacle and inaction against the Education Minister tells the country what you actually care about - not the futures of lakhs of students, only the survival of your own government.

Yesterday, I posted about my sibling’s petrol car getting stranded on the road due to a fuel pump failure. The company itself confirmed it was linked to a fuel blending issue related to ethanol.

But unfortunately, I had to delete the post because of immense pressure from higher authorities. For the first time in my life, I was forced to take down something purely out of concern for family safety and precautions.

The unfortunate truth is that whenever someone speaks up about ethanol-related issues, attempts are made to silence them. This may continue, but these problems won’t disappear and tomorrow it could be my own car stranded the same way.

He's an anchor on Doordarshan, a central government TV channel. He's always spewing venom. When a child questioned the flaws in the CBSE exam testing, this national channel anchor @AshokShrivasta6 labeled him a P@kistani child. Imagine the mental trauma the child and his entire family must have suffered!

This is a serious crime. It's online bullying. If it were any other country, he would be in jail for violating child rights. But the @narendramodi government won't take action against this anchor. If they do, we'll let you know.
