Even though I have been working hard with my team and my medical staff, we have now had to make the difficult decision that I will not be able to compete at the US Open this year. We have been back on court in Monte Carlo over the last couple of days and have realised that I still need more time to recover from my right knee issue. I’m obviously very sad and disappointed, as New York has a special place in my heart. I was very much looking forward to coming back and playing in the electric atmosphere in front of the great fans there. ❤️
🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal made contact with Atlético Madrid to discuss Julián Álvarez deal conditions.
Direct meeting took place in London with Atléti director Mateu Alemany.
Price currently too high + Julián never opened doors to England so far as wanted to join Barça… but #AFC tried.

🚨 Enzo Maresca: “Enzo Fernández is a Chelsea player. I'm not going to talk about players that are not with us”.
“First of all, because I think it's a lack of respect, and second because I don't like when different managers talk about our players”, says via @city_xtra.
FG DECLARES TUESDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY AS NATION MARKS EID UL MAWLID
The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, 25th August 2026 a public holiday in honour of this year's Eid ul Mawlid, celebrated in remembrance of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Announcing the holiday on behalf of the Federal Government, the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and across the diaspora.
"Every Eid ul Mawlid gives us reason to pause and draw lessons from a life defined by compassion, humility and service to others," the minister said.
"These are qualities our nation needs now more than ever, and I encourage every Nigerian, not just our Muslim brothers and sisters, to reflect on them."
He added that the period should also serve as a time for collective prayer for the peace and cohesion of the country, noting that national unity remains a shared responsibility.
Tunji-Ojo further charged citizens to observe the celebration with restraint and mutual respect, wishing the Muslim community a joyous and peaceful Eid.
He restated the resolve of the present administration to safeguard lives and property across the country and to ensure that peace is maintained at all times.

It is the one who finishes before everyone else and goes home.
Productivity is not about hours. It never was.
The employee who clocks 12 hours and delivers the same output as someone who clocked 6 is not dedicated. They are inefficient.

The worst career advice: "just work hard and you'll be noticed."
No. You will be used.
Hard work without visibility is volunteering. Document what you do. Speak up in meetings. Send the update email nobody asked for.
