2027 6’2 Guard Jacob Holland @Jacob_holland14 didn’t just show up, he took over when everything hot tight and every possession mattered. In an 86-82 OT win over Kentuckiana Hoops, Jacob had a clutch performance that hit on every level and refused to let his squad walk out with anything less than a win.
This was a game that demanded toughness, composure, and someone ready to own the moment, and Jacob answered that call loud and clear. He had 24 points, raining in 4 shots from deep that came at the right time, not just empty makes but momentum-shifting blows that kept KY Future Elite right where they needed to be. When the defense pressed up, he didn’t force it; he attacked, made the right reads, and controlled the pace like a guard who understands exactly what the moment requires.
And it wasn’t just scoring. Jacob stuffed the stat sheet with 6 rebounds and 5 assists, doing the little things and the big things all in the same breath. He created for others when the defense collapsed, extended possessions with effort on the glass, and stayed locked in through every swing of the game.
When overtime came, the pressure only got heavier, and that’s when Jacob settled in even more. No panic or drop off. Just control, confidence, and execution. This was one of those performances where you could see the game slow down for him while everything else sped up around him.
Clutch isn’t something you say, it’s something you prove when it matters most. And Jacob proved it possession after possession, delivering a complete takeover performance that stamped this OT win with his name all over it. @TaraHelton6@NextUpRecruits
