Global markets starting to feel way too complacent about Iran War.
Not only are costs beginning to spike in things like shipping .. .but we are weeks (days?) away from hearing about shortages in things like fertilizer, jet fuel, and more.
Poor countries are going to feel it first.
Stay focused and nimble.
I can't imagine Illinois Governor Pritzker or Chicago Mayor Johnson want to be known as the politicians who lost the team. Would enrage voters on both sides and be the thing people talk about for decades.
Let's see how this plays out.
As I understand it .. da move isnt a done deal yet. Bears may still be playing super hardball to get a Chicago area stadium done.
But its looking more likely da Bears move outta da state.

It's not just the new $9 traffic tax.
If you live in the NJ/NYC area, the road/bridge/tunnel tolls are also on the rise.
So you decide to take the train or the bus instead? Those fares are also going up (along with parking at train stations).
They're going to get you coming and going.
The gas price increase is just another poke in the eye, but it's not the biggest cost spike around these parts.
@SullyCNBC So, let's get this sraight. The economy allegedly sucks, people can't afford groceries or gas, and the rent is too damn high, yet there they go racking up congestion pricing fees and burning gas. Maybe things aren't as bad as they try and make them out to be.
That's my take -- and many pro drivers - as well.
Love to see actual data but anecdotally I think all the "traffic is down" talk at start of the year was because it was freezing for 3 months and people stayed home.
@SullyCNBC Traffic is as bad or worse then ever. The January when the tax started the congestion was significantly decreased, however it was super cold outside and I think less ppl were traveling. But I’m I’m Ubers daily in Manhattan and traffic is as bad as ever
Anyone have any recent data on NYC traffic and the $9 congestion pricing tax?
Every taxi/uber I’m in says the same thing: it seemed to work to cut traffic a bit at beginning .. but now it’s back to normal.
Anecdotally traffic seems as bad as ever. Constant gridlock.
Just curious bc of traffic is close to pre-tax levels, they’re just gonna raise the cost.
But love to see any actual data ..
