The idea that it takes months or years of therapy to let go of deep emotional trauma is a limiting belief.
You could let go of your emotional baggage right now if you decided to do so.
What's holding you back?
Resistance.
You don't know who you'd be without the trauma so your ego is protecting you.
It's afraid of the unfamiliar. You've kept yourself chained for so long that freedom subconsciously scares you.
This is when you muster a little bit of courage and say 'Fuck it, I refuse to let my past sabotage my future'
Imperfect consistent action will always trump perfect inconsistent action.
Chasing perfection is a pipe dream that will keep you stuck in analysis paralysis
Don't let your inner critique prevent you from taking that first step.
The perfection will come in time as you put in the reps.
Letting go of expectations and outcomes and just focusing on being grateful for what I already have has made me way happier.

Binge watching TV shows can make you Fat!
I can't tell you how many times in the past I sat down to watch a TV series while eating dinner after a good day of healthy eating choices....
And winded up either overeating or ordering in something from uber eats that I knew would sabotage my progress.
It's called dopamine stacking and it's something people unconsciously do a lot.
