New data on farms and inheritance tax: a third of farm estates over £1.5m aren’t farmers but wealthy people avoiding IHT by sinking money into farmland.

The Budget hits farmers too hard and tax avoiders too lightly. It needs to change.

@CarolineLucas At school, history included Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Colonisation (where the English migrated to other countries and tried to take them over).. later I learned about the theft of many countries' artifacts. Isnt that all part of the rich English Identity, culture and values? 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

@ZoeJardiniere @tiktok_uk Does this fall under @Ofcom oversight? Their recent fine of TikTok shows areas of concern... perhaps this falls under online safety?

Btw, I've reported X users on similar things & similar responses. Online safety does not appear to be something that SM sites worry about.

@bbclaurak She did not say 'sending'. Which likely means that there will be multiple processing centres in neighbouring countries to war zones, where pple will be able to apply for asylum. Even working with #UNHCR. Bit of thinking outside the 'journalist broken record' might be helpful 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
