It was a girls competition so they all trusted the adults that only females would be competing

Housing male prisoners in women’s prisons is a clear breach of the Equality Act 2010.

Yesterday I asked the EHRC what they are going to do about it given they have responsibility for enforcing the Equality Act.

Regardless of how kind, vunerable, friendly, well behaved etc he has no place in the women’s prison.
There are many types of men who may need extra protection (gay, disabled,short etc)
All men should be accommodated in the men’s prison

@talkJenny @Rebecca_SPaul @treesey All are men and therefore should not be in the female estate. Maybe consideration needs to be given to how to accommodate certain men safely in the men’s estate however they have no place with the women. Under any circumstances. It’s against the law

Enough is enough.

Female prisoners have committed serious crimes and should be punished.

But they should not be put in danger.

The Supreme Court ruling was clear that sex means biological sex.

Labour must immediately remove all men from women’s prisons and shut down E-Wing at HMP Downview.

There was a big win for girls in Scotland today.
The Court of Session has ruled that West Lothian Council @LoveWestLothian multi-user unisex toilets in a primary school amounted to indirect sex discrimination against female pupils.
Common sense was upheld. GIrls deserve privacy, dignity, and single-sex facilities especially in schools.
