From here they will take a bit of a drive through some small towns and farms in Tanzania before arriving at Rongai Gate to start their climb.

We visited an orphanage today to drop off some school supplies, clothes & toys.

Caroline started the orphanage in 2007 and it has now expanded to be able to care for up to 60 children. They have moved to a larger building - hence not many children there now!

If you look closely you can see Mount Kilimanjaro peeking out from behind the clouds. 🏔

We’ve all arrived at our lodge and later we’ll head to a nearby orphanage to meet the kids and deliver school supplies.
