"Niles, we're lost. That's the fourth time we've passed by the pile of frankly rather tasteless sheraton armchairs."
"Yes, the style clashes with the yellow wallpaper and endless billowing void. Then again, feng shui might fail to accommodate an open floor plan this... er, OPEN"
Iβm kinda waiting for an *actual* Gen Z auteur to take the world by storm. Instead of the gold star / atta boy mentality we got going now.
βThe Backrooms was pretty good! Kane Parsons is only 20!β - yeah, but did it melt your face off? Was it Pulp Fiction? Was it Blood Simple?
Curry Barker has about 1/10th the imagination and panache of, say, Ari Aster.
Kane Parsons is nowhere close to Robert Eggers.
All of them still outclassed by the Tarantinos and Coens or the world.
Movie-going zeitgeist has gotten so bad
Why are we afraid to say that movies are bad as if the director is our friend and we might hurt their feelings.
Is this a Gen Z effect? (!!)
