San addressing the massive wave of hate comments and comforting fans.
He said he's okay with not being liked by everyone, and that having people who love and support him is already enough. More than anything, he doesn't want fans getting hurt or exhausted from worrying about him.
He described the whole situation with a metaphor,"The brighter the light, the darker the shadow. But a shadow can only cover one side". Basically, the brighter you shine, the more negativity may come with it, but that negativity is still only one side of everything around you.
San also said that dislike is a feeling everyone can have. Sometimes you just don't like someone, even without a reason, and he understands that. But to actually choosing to badmouth someone is different.
He said people can hide behind anonymity and probably find it fun, but they're also grown adults who know they shouldn't be doing it. And even though he said he isn't perfectly mature either, he still hopes we can become a slightly more mature society.
And he also said if you're going to spend all that time typing hate comments anyway, at least listen to an ATEEZ song first ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Equivalent exchange!
