Congratulations to Engineer Adam Lumbardo. Adam has been with the SCFMD since joining as a Firefighter/EMT in September, 2004. Adam has since acquired his Paramedicine Certification and was promoted to Engineer on August 20, 2018. His son Joie had the honors of pinning his badge.

On this Memorial Day, please join the Sun City Fire & Medical Department in remembering and honoring the people who have died while serving in this great country's armed forces. This tradition dates back to 1882 when it was called Decoration Day, but became Memorial Day in 1967.

We are celebrating the retirement of Battalion Chief John Deakin on Thursday, May 3rd from 11AM - 2PM at Fire Station 131. Chief Deakin has served the citizens of Sun City For over 31 years. If you have worked with Chief Deakin and would like to wish him well, please stop by.
