I’m getting tea on the craziest drama in my class rn. These two best friends are both in my class and one of them is my in-class partner and the other is my project partner and they’re not legally allowed to speak to each other rn bc of a court case and I’m getting tea from BOTH

These stations only hire recruits every 4-5 years, so I really need to jump on this now and at least give it a shot.

Problem: To even get considered for an oral interview, I have to pass the PAT test in 5 weeks. I’m 4 months post surgery where they had to literally put my foot and leg back together with plates and screws. I was cleared to walk two months ago and full activity 2 WEEKS ago-

MY LOCAL FIRE STATION IS FINALLY HIRING RECRUITS
I technically have one year of college left but I can either work around it or say fuck college bc I’m not going to use my degree anyway

-and it still hurts to walk more than a few minutes at a time. I’m planning on cardio 5x a week, strength training 3x a week, and two active rest days for the next five weeks. And a heavy abuse of pain medication and ice baths to keep most of the pain away.
