Location recce in Mubi went well. Seeing the space early helps you plan, avoid surprises, and shoot with confidence.

First day of filming in Mubi. We set out for a location recce, scouting spots, soaking in the atmosphere, and getting a feel for the story on the ground.

Stayed at Madugu Apartment in Mubi to rest before filming the documentary. Decent place. Clean, quiet, and just right after the long trip.

Finally arrived in Mubi, northern heat, busy streets, and that unmistakable border town energy. Mubi is a major commercial hub linking Nigeria and Cameroon.

Driving through Hong LGA, parts of the road are still in really bad shape, rough patches, potholes, and sections that slow you down to a crawl. With all the influence this area holds, you expect better.
