This is exactly why medical tourism to India is exploding.
$45k → $4.5k for the same (or better) care is insane. Glad your mom got excellent treatment. The clinical side in top Indian hospitals is genuinely world-class. The bottlenecks you mentioned (airport experience, transport, safety perception, post-op logistics) are real and fixable. If India cracks those, it’ll become the default destination for a huge chunk of global elective surgeries.

My mom needed surgery, and our U.S. options were around $45,000. We were actually looking at South Korea before my doctor friend recommended India. We came here and paid about $4,500 at a top hospital, including the stay. The quality of care was honestly amazing. If India can fix the travel, logistics, and safety side of medical tourism, the opportunity is massive.
