When your brain is so mush that you let comments trigger you on Twitter, and you become a hysterical monster who can’t think straight - it’s time to step back. Read it all again, then take a break. It’s likely that you misunderstood. Keep your fire, but in the right places.
@DecaenMathilde This is what differs a nice person from a less nice pers. Upon revelation, he chose to change. He could have decided otherwise and gone ‘ok, well shit. I’m not into trans, but let’s enjoy the rest of the time spent together, at least.’ So I think that you’re better off without.❤️
It doesn’t help that you’re a stubborn mofo, high on your own wisdom thinking that you know the answer to it all.
(Just another melting snowflake)
Peace, ya’ll. Stay humble, stay kind and remember to actually listen.
Kind reminder from someone whom frequently forgets to listen.

@taralond Utbrenthet er en skikkelig stor B. Få vet hva det innebærer før de opplever det. God bedring. ❤️ Det kommer en dag i morgen og plutselig kjenner du at du er på vei opp, ut og frem igjen.
@Pl4inNinj4@jebentier That’s true. Reading again, I might have misunderstood. Protecting children is a huge thing for me, and that’s one situation I can’t keep cool so it triggers the hissyfit in me. Especially if it’s adults purposefully harassing kids and saying it’s ok to do so, cause reasons.
@Prosto_Ksusha_ @Annton72@jebentier I wish I were that selfish that I would do shit for personal calm. Cause that way I would actually obtain calm. But you’ve got a point; we could have done more and we should have done more - now we reap what we sow and put the blame on someone else.
@Prosto_Ksusha_ @Annton72@jebentier Ukrainian friends the best way I can. But I agree. My nation is part of the issue. I’ve said it numerous times already and I’ll say it again. We’ve had YEARS to try solve this slow escalation. We can’t start with diplomacy when war is already at the door. It has to be continuous.
@Prosto_Ksusha_ @Annton72@jebentier When New Years came I already knew that this would be the year and I already dubbed it the Year of Melancholy. But that was just a hunch that ended up coming true. If I had had any Russian relatives I would have edged them to protest. Alas I do not. I am already aiding my
@Prosto_Ksusha_ @Annton72@jebentier I disagree and I agree. I’ve been watching the situation since I learned about the protests since 2014. I’ve been voting for those that I think can aid in deescalation because I have been expecting that Russia will do something somewhere in Europe for 20 years.
@Prosto_Ksusha_ @Annton72@jebentier Not at all. I wish the war never happened. Too many are being victims of a megalomaniac. Pointless and senseless deaths of so many. I wish that these kids can be able to play together and be brothers and sisters again. That’s why I think it’s important to care about both.
@mc_covidisation@jebentier A person is fully capable to care about both. Never have I ever said that killings of Ukrainians is of less importance. It’s not. If we allow harassment of the children, they can grow up hating Ukrainians. Now what good does that do for the bigger picture? Sow peace, not strife.
@Annton72@jebentier Adults in Russia, born and bred, can be viewed as a different matter. And so far, those against seem to be accepting the responsibility by taking to the streets.
@Annton72@jebentier The issue is that kids, not old enough to properly identify themselves as either Russian or the country they grew up in, but are identified by others purely based on their parents. That’s wrong. Brings to mind all the abuse of the kids with German fathers after WWII.
@terrelljstarr You do you. If it’s not to our liking, it’s easy to find other journalists. If it’s to our liking, we’ll easily stay and listen. I think it’s good the journalists do their thing a bit different to the next. Offers a good diversity. So. You do you, Sir.
@jebentier Aye, definitely. We’ll go a long way if we have motives of kindness and not motives of diverting from the cause as you described in your examples, though. You offer food for thought.
(Didn’t mean to come off as hostile).
@jebentier “Sorry, I see you’re being beat but I can’t really help you or support you, even if I find it wrong so I’ll help the beater instead.”
If an ally finds shit to be wrong (let’s say I’m an ally to Putin), I can easily say ‘dude, you’re wrong in this. Gtfo of there.’ Still an ally.
@jebentier So, if Russian kids in my country (not Ukraine or Russia) are receiving death threats and harassment, I’ll only be an ally to Ukraine if I turn a blind eye to the issue?
Cause I’m not exactly sure where the line is drawn here.
