its so insane to me that fellow artists just do this to people. like- i can get art done same day maybe up to a week depending on my health and get anxious if i don't complete it in that timeframe. how are people so normalized to owed work taking YEARS with no updates?
I’m honestly about to drop a huge list of artists to avoid.
There are some I’ve been waiting on for years. And they’ve even responded to me saying They’ll refund me but never do.
Most ignore me or just keep saying I’ll get to it soon.
@_VGen_ Hi im Sunny! im a disabled artist who would absolutely love the opportunity to open comms on vgen! most of my recent works are namecards but i do other things as well!

Gotta eat em all! Goldfish has FOUR new Pokémon releases with special shapes for Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmnader.
Spotted these at Walmart - which is your favorite?
I don't entirely because it would take me longer to add it to my already otherwise empty queue than to just do the work. if you commission me you'll be seeing me again in the next few hours or less with the completed work.
hot take: as a client, i should never have to beg an artist i commissioned to do their job. i should not have to be the one to constantly check in with them for updates when they go silent for months on end. as an artist myself theres a level of conduct other artists need to have
OK IM NOT CRAZY THIS WAS A FUR THAT EXISTED! considering howl doesn't make it anymore if anyone who makes furs has something similar im also desperate to get my paws on this color 😭
Long shot, but does anyone know any fur fabrics similar to howls old sangria, or even have any they'd be happy to sell?
Purple is a prison that I cannot escape 🙏
if art is luxury, then those selling it need to adhere to a certain level of conduct. but no one is ready for that conversation.
the lack of professionalism, inability to deliver products on a timely manner, + ghosting clients. these behaviours cheapen the experience.
i tried this out myself for fun and the only one i particularly agree with is that the ref feels a little too low res for most people, otherwise i didn't particularly encounter any other issues imo? (anyway enjoy! your character was a joy to draw💖)
Based on the feedback: (thank you)
- design ok but the HEAD area is hard to read.
- artist are afraid with a greyscale/ monochrome palette
- the ref res is too low to show details needed
- should look for an artist who specializes in greyscale
- eyedropper nightmare
this exact thing is why i dont show my interests to people anymore. this makes me so unreasonably angry when people do this to me. if you want me to show you anything ever you better put that damn phone down RIGHT NOW. PAY ATTENTION.
ok as someone who's had a LOT of dealings with the admin in the past (including on this topic) i can tell you thats what they tell everyone. their cbc ban isn't about copyright at all. it's because they think cbc's are fanart and "toyhouse isn't a place to upload fanart". +
was trying my best to be professional, but I have lost my mind with this admin
attributing my cbc design to the FANART rule when its NOT FANART???? 😭😭😭😭
@fangnull creators, which is why you still see cbc's on the popular characters page without them being taken down.) the rules don't apply equally to everyone. they especially don't apply equally if you manage to tick them off (i say this from personal experience. if you end up on their +
how this rule came to be? admin put up a poll somewhere years ago in a random forum instead of a site announcement to let the whole site decide, only the opinion of a select few was taken who apparently believed cbc culture was cringe. that's why this rule exists. not because of+
