I know the Metcalf family is torn with grief over their son and brother. This Tuesday marks one year since Austin’s life was taken so brutally and unexpectedly. It’s hard to understand why. It’s easy to be grateful and steady when life is good - but when everything in you is shaken, it takes everything you have to cling to God and refuse to let the evil of this world make you bitter or turn you into what took your loved one.

With the anniversary approaching, the trial looming, and the ongoing attacks from those involved in this case, I struggled to find words of comfort for Jeff, Meghan, and Hunter. Then I received word that I would be singing this song today… and I knew that was not by chance.

Just know this: the mountain in front of you will be cast into the depths of the sea. By trusting in Him, you have drawn a permanent boundary line. The enemy has no right to come near your family. Every weapon formed against you will break. No scheme, no agenda, no petition, and no campaign brought against you can ever undo God’s plan.
