In our @MBK_Alliance town hall yesterday, I mentioned James Baldwin's The Fire Next Time. From 1962, it remains a seminal meditation on race by one of our greatest writers and relevant for understanding the pain and anger behind the protests. Excerpt: https://t.co/50F9ZP3JhQ

Fifty years ago next month, Leonard J. Samia graduated with a BSBA from our Sawyer Business School.
Today, in honor of his transformational philanthropic leadership, we will dedicate our academic building at 20 Somerset St. in his name: the Leonard J. Samia Academic Center.
It was an honor to attend the naming ceremony of the Samia Academic Center! Mr. Samia has donated 10 million dollars to help give back to our Suffolk community! Truly incredible!!
Had a great time at Suffolk University’s SGA Leadership Awards Dinner last night. Congratulations to all of the student leaders and student organizations for a great year. @Suffolk_U @SUStuAffairs @SuffolkSGA @SuffolkU_GSA
