@AdobeCare Hey, I cancelled my subscription months ago only to find out you all have been charging me monthly. I have no active subscriptions, as I’ve cancelled all of them. Yet I’m still getting charged $70/month. I’ve disputed these with my bank but they keep happening. Wtf???
@3DSCentral I absolutely did use it. I was one of those losers who owned a Wii U and a 3DS, and had Smash on both consoles. I’d invite my friends over and they’d use the Wii U while I connected with my 3DS. It was jank af, but I was having too much fun to care.
Paying for games is one thing. Paying for tech demos that are designed only to show us how to use the system we just spent $500 on? No thanks, Nintendo. You lost us there.
Explore the new system through tech demos, minigames, and quizzes with Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, a paid downloadable launch title for #NintendoSwitch2. #NintendoDirect
@Stealth40k I played it in the Global Jam and unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the controls. They felt clunky and kept annoying me. If I put more time into it, maybe I’d come around. But I don’t see enough appeal to put in that time.
@WobblyLifeDev Sick!!! Will this utilize the performance of the Switch 2 at all (essentially have improved frame rate/visuals)? Or will it perform the same on Switch and Switch 2?
@Stealth40k I’m sort of baffled that Super Mario Maker 2 isn’t getting a Day 1 patch adding mouse controls. If they are willing to add it to Game Builder Garage, Mario Maker only makes sense.
@saltydkdan Their UI department needs to be fired, bro. People argue “it doesn’t need to look fancy cause it functions”. NO SHIT. That’s the bare minimum. Nintendo really gave us the absolute bare minimum and gave up. It’s a boring lifeless forgettable UI that I despise using. RIP Wii & 3DS.
@sourpxnch Have you started or would you ever consider making an entire “creepypasta” style video showing gameplay of all of these scenes put together? Listening to them now, I can definitely see the potential for a “found footage” style of video. Or hell, even an entire animation series.
@Stealth40k The thing is, tarrifs were only paused for 90 days. If no deal/changes are made, the 46% will resume. If Nintendo sells the Switch 2 at an unchanged price but then the 46% tarrifs resume, Nintendo will have to increase the cost, screwing over those who didn’t get it immediately.
