In 1973, the County launched our Senior Nutrition Program, with 12 meal sites. Last year, our program grew to 38 meal sites, encompassing initiatives like Meals on Wheels and CHAMPSS, and served more than 16,000 older adults with a total of 1.56 million meals.

Our staff are flexible too. During the pandemic, the program served 1.7 million grab-and-go meals in one year.
The SNP plays a vital role in physical and mental health. Proper nutrition boosts mood, cognitive function, and keeps seniors feeling connected to their community.
