Very soon I’ll be delisting my game ‘Glitched Out’ from Steam. I’ve already contacted Steam support to set plans in motion. I made this game with @ItsJustJ0rd who continues to create awesome indie horror games. (So check him out).
I want to thank everyone who worked on this project with me over the 18 months it was in development. I drew every texture by hand, wrote the script, created the characters, directed the project and designed the gameplay systems and levels. It also helped me get to grips with Unity as I did alot of the set dressing and lighting work.
To everyone who downloaded the game - you should continue to have access to it in your stream library. Thanks for all the feedback both positive and negative. Glitched Out was my first attempt at making a video game. It wasn’t perfect, but it had a lot of heart and passion behind it and I’m proud of what me and the team created. It’s uniquely weird and quirky and I don’t think there’s anything out there quite like it - for better or worse.
I may return to game creation in the future. Lots of lessons learned. But for now I hope you enjoyed a sneak peek into my creative mind.
@Hansel_KObot@ItsJustJ0rd It’s free to download and is still available. If you download it you keep it in your library. I’m delisting it because I’m closing the company it released through.
Finally got to see ‘Backrooms’ this evening. It felt unsettling and creepy throughout. Kind of like a lucid dream / night terror. The cinematography, audio and set design were all fantastic. Loved the use of practical fx work too. If you like slow burn, arty horror then I’d recommend it.
The Little Nightmares III DLC was a big step up over the base game. It showed Supermassive Games are continuing to get comfortable with the IP and understand how to realise the world. I feel like these expansions will help guide them to making a potential LN4 the best it can be.
It’s my balloon day! Thanks for being such an awesome community. I haven’t been the most consistent uploader recently but I’ll get back to YouTube properly soon. For now it’s time to eat cake and engage in other birthday related shenanigans 🥳.
Some secrets may be better left behind the curtain. Why is it so tempting to peek, though?
#LittleNightmares III’s first DLC – The Backstage – arrives June 12 as part of the Secrets of The Spiral Expansion Pass.
Wishlist now.
