We've just heard that 12-year-old #fundraiser Lyra (& her family) are going to be on air on @BBCRadioSolent at 4:45pm! Lyra was inspired to fundraise through our 'Fundraising for a Better World' Initiative with @theweekjunior. This weekend she walked 23 miles across the #IsleofWight - and has raised over £1,500 (including Gift Aid) so far for @CatsProtection - a formidable achievement! We love hearing about when school’s get creative with The Social Impact Schools Award. The amazing Shepwell School held a #competition for students to design a #SuperKind #badge and the school is going to turn the winning one (pictured) into an embroidered badge – how cool is that?!

Huge well done to the teachers leading this and all students who got involved. We can’t wait to see the embroidered badge.
