In the past year our journalists tested and evaluated thousands of products. We’ve deemed just 71 worthy of our inaugural Best New Picks Awards. https://t.co/wGutWZYjuT
Here's a 20 min timelapse in 60 seconds using my @rattasupernote :D
Some friends were wondering how responsive it is so I wanted to record to share - it's an e-ink tablet (greyscale only) specialised for notes/drawing
I seldom promote any product or company, but I'm happy to show love for @rattasupernote
The Supernote Nomad is a tool I use every single day. I had a very simple intention: "I want something I can write well with and read & edit pdfs with (reading kindle books was an added bonus)." I've effectively replaced numerous journals and trips to print pdfs at the library since I've been using it.
In terms of form and function the Supernote stood out to me among the other competition (e.g. Remarkable, Boox, etc).
What ultimately sealed the deal for me was reading the feedback from users within the Supernote community. Users expressed their appreciation for how Supernote:
- Honored and prioritized the privacy of their documents
- Are incredibly receptive to user feedback & critique
- Fix bugs with periodic updates (e.g. the ghosting issue after selecting text with the lasso and moving it- so happy this got resolved!)
- And most importantly prioritizes user experience
The last bullet point is huge.
In our day and age, I see increasingly fewer products and companies prioritizing the user experience. They focus on profit, branding, and marketing- customer be damned.
Supernote is one of the few companies that stands out in our day and age. They have simple & great products without adorning it with unnecessary bells and whistles. And they prioritize the user experience. This human touch, connection, and quality will be invaluable in this high-speed age of AI.
If you're looking for something to write and read with and keeping it simple, I can't recommend Supernote enough.
