In the final two sessions of this cycle of the #Microforest, @BlakestownCS students continued their work with Maura Brennan & Kasia Kaminska.⁠ They created wooden spoons for the final pot meal and learned about Alternative processes.⁠ Thanks @fingalarts @artscouncil_ie

This year's edition of our Professional Development Programme for recent arts graduates is coming to an end and after gallery days, studio visits, online meetings and seminars, participants are now preparing for the closing exhibition, opening in January 2024. More news soon. ⁠

The new cycle of the #Microforest continues. Students of @BlakestownCS met up with Maura Brennan to learn about her work 'The Acorn Project' and oak trees and acorns as a food source. They also made utensils using a green woodwork technique. Thanks @fingalarts @artscouncil_ie

In this month’s session of our ongoing project with Forerunner and @LibertiesTC artists and students took part in a variety of activities over a 2 day period, from drawing and site visits to model making. Their project will be exhibited in @LabDCC in mid 2024 @artscouncil_ie

In May this year we started a new programme with the collaborative arts practice Forerunner & the students of @LibertiesTC. They are working on developing a project that will be exhibited in The LAB gallery (@LabDCC) in mid 2024.⁠

Our Professional Development Programme for recent fine arts graduates kicked off at @NCAD_Dublin. Participants met on Tuesday & spent the day with mentors @janicehough Mark Durkan & Barbara Knezevic taking part in critique round tables, role play exercises and a studio visit.⁠
