We recently had a very productive meeting, with the Irish in Britain Organisation, to work together, to address the lack of culturally relative support for people living with dementia. This we believe will go a long way to help with positive change in this respect

We have created a website and app to help carers, family members and friends to interact with persons living with dementia for reminiscence therapy sessions and activities even if they don't know anything about their background or culture. https://t.co/CPMe2rQO3K

There is a lack of culturally sensitive reminiscence support for members of the BAME when it comes to people living with or affected by dementia, and even though they mean well, most of the main organisations like the Alzheimer's society haven't got a clue where to start!
