While I appreciate the offer of an alternate flight (within -6/+6 days) or refund, this does not address the full impact under EU261 (flight departed from EU airport AMS):
• Original AI 156 AMS-DEL (17 Jun 20:40) was cancelled with short notice.
• This forced cancellation of my domestic IndiGo CCU-JRG flight today (~₹15,000 cost, no refund received).
• Significant inconvenience, stress, and need for meals + hotel until 18 June evening (and onward arrangements from 19 June).
My request:
1. EU261 compensation: €600 per passenger (3 passengers = €1,800 total) for the cancellation.
2. Reimbursement: ₹15,000 domestic ticket loss + reasonable care expenses (meals, hotel until 18 June 18:00 IST, and any further travel costs in India).
3. Full resolution of the claim, including the above.
I have already shared details with @MoCA_GoI and will escalate further if needed. For security, the PNR has been removed from public view.
