Last week I had the pleasure of joining my colleagues in a set of tours of the Post-Wildfire Flood Mitigation System in the Pipeline Fire Flood Area. We are proud to announce that to this day, the County has completed $96 million worth of projects along all 9 watersheds.

State Transportation Meeting/Dinner at NAU CDL Course
During yesterday's meeting, the BOS proclaimed June as #PrideMonth in our County. Pride month is all about celebrating the history and accomplishments of the LGBTQ+ Community. We will continue working to ensure a safe environment for everyone regardless of their sexuality.
On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, I would like to extend a big congratulations to Coconino High School’s robotics team “The CocoNuts” for securing the 2024 FIRST Impact Award Championship! We are proud of the team for their dedication and well-deserved success. Go Panthers!

Had a great time today at the High Country Stand Down where I participated in a ceremony recognizing members from our community who have served for many years. The Coconino County Board of Supervisors is pleased to designate May 2024 as Military Appreciation Month.
