Vindication for Surface Duo fans? Apple’s new iPhone Duo may have borrowed more than just the name—it has seemingly adopted the unique multitasking and windowing design philosophy that Microsoft pioneered back in 2020 too!

While other folding phones treat large displays like single tablet screens, Surface Duo offered a uniquely fluid, automatic dual-screen experience where apps and links behaved intuitively without clunky gestures.

Apple has essentially recreated that exact magic on its own folding device, alongside pen support and a wide aspect ratio. It’s really cool to see. Is iPhone Duo the Surface Duo 3 fans have been waiting for?

Ridley Scott says he's planning a third “Alien” prequel, based on Michael Fassbender's character in “Alien: Covenant."

Scott adds that he won’t be using AI to make the movie: “I can compete with an AI without any problem making images. But it’s coming, inevitably,” he said.

“The uneasy question is: Can the AI only be as good as the information fed into it? If I say ‘Here’s a blank canvas, write me such and such,’ would that just be a melange of millions of other scripts? Probably. But the danger is it’ll pass that point and become smarter than we are.”
