Dubai became more than a city. It became a symbol of certainty. A city of Yaqeen (conviction) for the world

Security guarantees, geopolitical umbrellas, global alliances. The assumption of protection. The belief that economic brilliance plus strategic alignment equals an untouchable nation

And then… the skies shift

In moments like yesterday, the real question isn’t the market value of property, but the value of the premise everything was built upon

Because cities are never sustained by concrete alone.

Security is not geographical. It is not architectural. It is not political

Allah can allow what feels immovable to tremble
He can make what feels safest feel fragile
He can make yesterday’s “risk” today’s refuge and yesterday’s refuge today’s question mark

London yesterday appeared safer than parts of the Middle East. That alone is a lesson

Means are not gods. Skylines are not saviours. Alliances are not guarantees. And an America base in the UAE doesn’t equal protection

The Qur’an does not ask us to abandon means… but it forbids us from worshipping them. But sometimes we fall into this

True security is not found in height, wealth or military umbrellas. It lies with the One who controls the sky above them, just like the lion of the desert said, Omar Al-Mukhtar

And when your reliance is anchored there (not in towers, not in markets, not in states) then whether you stand in a desert or a city, you stand under real protection

The lesson is not about Dubai. It’s about tawakkul

Because when Allah is your security, no skyline can define your safety… and no tremble can truly shake you
