@ZARA_Care My order from you has arrived and an item is missing. I've been trying to contact someone via your Contact Us options and I keep getting bots, not an actual agent. How do I raise this matter?
@DunelmUK Ordered a toaster from you. Arrived in a ripped box with label saying 'Defective'! Nearest store 30mins away. I'm not driving 1hr round trip at my expense (fuel and time) to sort this out. Why have you sent me a defective product and how will you resolve this?
Research conducted by Combat Stress and The King’s Centre for Military Health Research (@kcmhr) aimed to find out what kind of experiences could lead to moral injury and the impact that moral injury can have on veterans.
It was found that veterans who reported experiencing a morally injurious event were significantly more likely to meet the criteria for PTSD, depression and anxiety than those who hadn’t.
Several factors, including event type, childhood and being psychologically or emotionally unprepared were found to make people more vulnerable to distress following moral injury.
Individuals suffering from moral injuries may find it difficult to speak with friends, family or clinicians about their symptoms due to feelings of guilt or shame.
After learning that PTSD treatment methods weren’t as effective with veterans who had experienced moral injury, we launched a study to co-produce a new specialist moral injury treatment - the Restore and Rebuild treatment programme.

“In Episode 2 of ITV's #Breathtaking, we see the devastating effects of staff being unable to save their colleague from Covid. As staff work tirelessly to save lives they are met with insufficient equipment and tests, and are restricted by rules and procedures that have been decided for them, all while being left vulnerable and exposed to becoming sick themselves. ‘Breathtaking' is a harrowing depiction of how potentially morally injurious these conditions were for staff.” - Amanda, Research Therapist at Combat Stress
“Episode 1 of ITV's new drama #Breathtaking is a powerful depiction of those in an impossible position of having both great responsibility and great powerlessness, an experience many military veterans have shared. As a result, many frontline NHS Healthcare workers, who took these roles as they wanted to care for and protect others, are today left struggling with moral injury following their work during the Covid-19 pandemic" - Amanda, Research Therapist at Combat Stress.
Based on findings from an OVA-funded report by @CombatStress published today, we are investing £200,000 to improve clinical support for female veterans who have suffered from sexual trauma.
