Honestly it was the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Two separate but intertwined conflicts from 1950-1975. Vietnam begun when Korea ended (1954 Geneva convention) and accelerated several issues that plague it today. Permanent high defense spending, interventionist executive branch, political/social distrust, and most importantly the idea conflicts thousands of miles away were Americas responsibility to solve. This philosophy later substitutes communism with radical Islam after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and in wake of 9/11 and the war on terror. This period created a state of permanent national security crisis that we’ve been unable to shake since, but it started in Korea.

Yes all news sources push narratives. Welcome to earth. When I turn on a network I understand it will have a slant. I’m then able to decide how that fits my beliefs. It’s better to know that upfront than getting your news from anonymous accounts being paid by foreign governments. We’ve come full-circle in realizing the importance of legacy institutions. He’s done for the season. Most guys who had a similar injury are forced to retire. It’s a brutal rehab cause even when it appears healed your vision and depth perception in one eye is never the same.
