@joey_tuccio We know why so many of these dogs have leg injuries. Too often, homeless people under the influence of drugs beat their dogs so severely that they break their legs. I’ve seen it happen before with a homeless woman. Those poor dogs deserve so much better.

Stupid California wants to raise goat herder pay to over $220,000 a year. These family businesses would be put out of business, so the goat herders would lose their jobs and worse yet the goats would be sent to slaughter.

Thank you for sharing my Chronicle story. Even though you called it “Housing First propaganda,” I hope people actually take the time to read it.

The entire article is about how simply giving me housing wasn’t enough. I became more isolated, my addiction deepened, and recovery didn’t begin until I received additional support.

That’s exactly why I’ve been advocating for recovery-oriented housing as an additional option, not a replacement for permanent supportive housing.

Housing saved my life. Recovery gave me a life worth living. Those two statements can both be true.

This 30-year-old guy is from Santa Rosa. He’s been homeless in San Francisco for two years. His drug is fentanyl. @war24182236 puts him on a call with his mom, who wants him to come home. But he’d rather get high.

Yea you’re not from San Francisco — parks here are filled with junkies who 💩 and pee wherever they want. You have to be careful not to step on syringes and fentanyl foil. And dog owners pay taxes, too. There are designated areas for dogs, who, by the way, are better behaved than the junkies.
