I'm so excited! My first early reader for book 5 just sent me this:
Wow. Just frigging WOW. This is an amazing book. I loved the characters and the village. I read it in 2 sittings. I’ll read it again, but I see no holes or inconsistencies. Excellent work! I absolutely loved it.
Love this email!
I absolutely loved NIGHT BLINDNESS! I rarely read acknowledgements, but I enjoyed it so much I didn’t want it to end. Thanks for writing such a great book. You're such a wonderful writer. It's one of the best I've ever read. Told all my friends it's a must read.
Please enjoy this blog titled "The View From the High Road." It's been a loooooong time since my last post. Warning: contains naughty language.

I’m so glad it’s in print or else I would not believe it. The power of joy, will, hard work and two women of color determined to make BIPOC & LGBTQ the LEADS! The narrative is being rewritten, y’all! Dreams coming true.
Development—even a pitch—is intensive and long, and the potential for production is a bumpy road, but it’s been an absolute joy working with Sue, our 2019 finalist, on this project. And she nailed it. This type of @NASCAR series would be 💯.
Look forward to getting it out there!
We worked w/@SusanStrecker for weeks on this pitch and are totally convinced of its promise as a great TV series.
Perfect example too of why a writer’s connection to the subject matter can be so crucial. Saying you’re “the only person who can write___” doesn’t hurt.
The hardest 9 pages I have ever written. With the genius of Matt and Peter of @BookPipeline, this might actually happen. So thankful for these guys. Never thought I’d be pitching one of my books as a TV series.
