It's insane that Germany lets known jihadist extremists roam freely, only to watch the same type of attack happen again and again.
Meanwhile, law-abiding, tax-paying, hard-working immigrants often face endless bureaucracy and scrutiny. The priorities seem completely backwards.

I have to admit: Indira Gandhi was the last Prime Minister who actually had a spine.
From Nupur Sharma to DP, @narendramodi has repeatedly shown that when the pressure mounts, he's willing to throw his own people to the wolves.
@ANI It would be a grave mistake if goverment surrenders to such blackmailing. They already did the same during farmers protest and if DP is sacked, the anarchists will learn the pattern.

Sunil Singh
- A general category student
- His father is a grocery shop owner in Kanpur
- Scored 590 in NEET but the paper got cancelled. Scored 595 in the re NEET still didn't get a seat
- Came from Kanpur to Delhi by bus
- Has no food to eat and crying because he doesn't know what to do next
Sujat Ambedkar
- Great grandson of Bhim Rao Ambedkar
- Travels in a BMW
- Wears Hugo Boss suits worth 1 lakh
- Has no worries about studying
- Joined politics and enjoying wealth
- If his son or daughter wishes to become a doctor, they will get 50% reservation
Sunil's entire family's life would have changed if he had been selected. Sujat's life would have remained same even without reservation. Fair education can't coexist with reservation 🙏
Sometimes, the loudest protest begins...
After the problem has already been solved.
That is when you stop following slogans.
And start following the timeline.
Before you decide who the villain is...
Read the timeline.
Because dates don't shout.
They don't trend.
They don't protest.
They simply expose the truth.
May 3.
NEET examination.
Within four days, the NTA detected fraud.
The very next day, it informed the police.
The investigation began.
The Government cancelled the May 3 examination.
May 12.
The Ministry of Education filed a written complaint.
The CBI registered the case.
Special investigation team (SIT) were formed immediately.
May 15.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed the nation.
He apologised.
Accepted moral responsibility.
Announced the re-NEET schedule.
Then came the bigger announcement.
From next year,
Major national examinations would move towards
computer-based, multi-encrypted testing (CBT).
A permanent safeguard.
Not another temporary fix.
Meanwhile,
The CBI moved fast.
Arrests began.
The network expanded.
Soon, 13 accused were behind bars.
June 21.
Fresh NEET examination conducted successfully.
July 16.
Results declared.
Now students wait for counselling.
But this story is bigger than one examination.
Paper leaks are not new.
Every student preparing next year will carry the same anxiety.
I am with students.
Now comes the real question.
If the examination was cancelled...
The re-exam was conducted...
The results were declared...
The investigation was underway...
And structural reforms were already announced...
Then what exactly is the endgame of this protest?
If the demand is...
"Remove the Minister."
Then what?
What comes next?
What reform is on the table?
What solution replaces the one already announced?
These are fair questions.
Another one is equally important.
Who loses the most...
If encrypted, computer-based (CBT) examinations,
make organised paper leaks almost impossible?
Students?
Or those who profited from the old system?
Coaching Mafia?
Corrupted Academicians?
Tainted Beuraucrats?
Or those who is taking advantage of students emotions.
Bhim Army?
Aam Aadmi Party?
Congress?
Communist Party?
One fact cannot be ignored.
If technology shuts the door on organised paper leaks...
An entire illegal ecosystem stands to lose.
That is why the real battle is bigger than one Minister.
Or even one Government.
Goverments will come and go.
Party will win and loose.
But this nation will remain.
And it should at any cost.
Bigger than one Leader or person.
It is about one question.
Will India finally dismantle the business model...
Built on stealing honest students' hard-earned opportunities?
That... is the fight worth having.
A Dispatch from Room 8 with My Dad
I write to you as we move from the dark of the night going into morn from Room 8 at West Virginia University hospital in Morgantown, WV. I am bedside with my father, as he lies tucked into a hospital bed under a blanket with a pattern of bluebirds and flower petals, a press of oxygen flowing into him and his arms a roadmap to his past two months.
I’ve been bedside with my father since May when he first got diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia, pancreatitis, swallowing disorder and now Covid. Born in the summer of 1933, my father has gone from being a vibrant 92, digging in his garden of okra and jasmine flowers, to a fragile 93, wasting away.
I’m writing because we need help. If you have expertise in these illnesses or innovative medical detective work like you’re doing @austinTK, please message me, reply here, call me or email me? Please share my message so it reaches the right people to help my dad.
Last night, whipsawing between hospital delirium and lucidity while fiercely fighting disease, he said: “I enjoy life!”
Years ago, as West Virginia COVID czar, Dr. @ClayMarsh@WVUHealth implemented a plan to protect seniors from COVID called “Operation Save Our Wisdom,” and today I am grateful to him for unleashing his teams to save my dad’s wisdom.
I am blessed for the family I have come to know at @FoxNews Digital, led by editor-in-chief @PorterBerry and fueled by colleagues like @dorgan_michael and @MizellPreston.
Something magical has happened in these dark hospital rooms lit up with control panels: once the girl who regaled in my father’s stories of queens in India, I fell in love with my father all over again, no longer cajoling him to turn up the volume on his forever-failing hearing aids but grateful that he simply breathed beside me. He warmed my hands when I once ran track in ice-cold rain, and now I warm his, so the pulse oximeter can best read his breathing.
I remember every journey he has made with me, driving me in our Subaru to an interview in Manhattan for an internship at Harper’s Magazine, though he’d never heard of the publication, @walterkirn and @amandafortini. He drove me to DC for graduate school, where I first learned statistical analysis, @DataRepublican@data_republican.
When my friend Danny Pearl was kidnapped, @judeaPearl, my father told me, “It is your farz,” or duty, to try to find Danny. When I returned home with a baby in my belly, my father built a room on his home for my son and me, baby blue paint under his nails.
I thought we’d dodged a bullet after my father was discharged. You knew the grip test is a key to longevity? We’re nothing without our throat swallowing muscles strong.
On June 14, I zipped to DC to cover protests after wishing my dad a happy 93rd birthday in rehab in Fairmont, WV, home to gymnast Mary Lou Retton. I did a street report for @TomiLahren@BigWeekendShow and @DrMarcSiegel interviewed me. Thank you Dr. Siegel for your intellectual support now.
I zipped back from DC that day to continue to learn from occupational, physical and speech therapists — some of the most underrated gems in healthcare — how to best support my father as he learned how to walk to the mailbox and back.
Then, on the eve of Fourth of July, we were back in ER, again this time with aspirational pneumonia. A week ago, my father’s respiration rate spiked with a new diagnosis of Covid. What I have learned is we must indeed be at our loved one’s bedside to give them the best chance at survival, as @DrSuneelDhand says. @DrJBhattacharya, I’m sorry about your mother’s passing.
As @austinxwalker has done after getting slain by Covid, I have turned to technology, AI and large-language models to make sense of the data. Austin, my dad was a tech pioneer and data scientist. Let’s talk.
It is ironic that he survived the Bengal Famine of 1943 and now struggles with protein consumption. Please help me see him to recovery to protect his wisdom — our wisdom. ❤️
