Hey just wanted to add some insight here: I have never made any money from the online midoffs they are purely funded by me and the sub goals in the event. The reason it doesn’t have a prize pool is the same reason mcc doesn’t it’s for fun and to show people how cool ranked is.

The midoffs live was paid but to cover the 6 months of work and travel and accommodation for the whole team.

And for the speedrun world I am only the punisher of the world as ranked couldn’t publish themselves and I help out funding half of the development.

The prize pool for PvP champs was very generously put up by PvPHQ I would not be able to put of that much money myself.

I promise I’m never doing these shows for money it’s 100% for love of the game and the community as I am only fortunate enough to be able to do this because of the community 🫡🫡🫡
