@vironikaom I agree with all points mentioned above, but studying 3-4 hours with job is not easy as no job comes with 9 to 5 timing, forget 9 to 5 its not even 10 to 7 this days, ground reality is job is all about 10 AM to 11 -12 PM,with such timing it's difficult to manage studies
Quitting your job won’t fix your UPSC prep.
Job stress is real. You come home tired. Study doesn’t happen. Then the thought appears: If I quit, I’ll finally clear UPSC.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth.
Job stress hurts preparation. But quitting without a plan creates more pressure, not less.
This is the myth to drop:
Only those who quit their job succeed in UPSC. That’s not courage. That’s a gamble.
A better approach is calculated risk:
•Prepare with 3–4 focused hours daily alongside the job
•Build savings and a clear timeline before any big decision
•First stabilise your prep. Then decide the transition
Leaving a job isn’t ideal.
Right timing and structure are.
If you’re working and confused about whether to quit or continue,DM “JOB RISK.”
I’ll help you build a realistic prep + transition plan that protects both your attempt and your future.

@CseWhy If things would have been in my favour in my 21 till 23, l would try for upsc. Even after that, things won't have worked out. l would have pursed masters and grabbed a job with preparation
