Defaming a person / Organization is super easy these days. Here is the 3 step formula -

1) File as many cases as you want against the person or organization ( You wont believe how easy this is to do - You don't even need any evidence for your allegation)
2) Contact a Journalist/media channel to report that case has been filed against so and so for whatever allegation.
3) Use Social media influencers to spread the news! (Bonus if they have a blue tick).

With these 3 steps automatically the majority of the people reading will believe the allegation is true. No evidence is needed, no trial is needed, no defense, people don't even need to hear the other side of the story. Simply file a case and publish an article, and when their favorite "influencer" is talking about it - how can it not be true?! Everyone will all of a sudden become judge, jury, and if they had the power they would become the executioner. Contrary to claims, people are NOT constantly going missing from the Foundation.

According to the Tamil Nadu Police’s own report, in the last 30 years of the foundation’s functioning, and among over 75 million visitors who have come to the Isha Yoga Center, only 6 cases of missing people have been reported.

Five of the six missing person cases have been closed by the police because the individuals were found safe and well.

There is only one open case of a missing person, which was in fact filed by the Foundation itself. The person, who stepped outside the Isha Yoga Center, was unreachable after a few hours of absence. The Foundation immediately approached the police and informed the family. The Foundation continues to follow up and work with the police and hopes for the individual’s safe return.
