@fowltown@fowltown I thank you and your whole team for what you made! You knew what parts of the Sonic stories we wanted to see. You knew what you could reference. You knew what you could poke fun at. But, most crucially, you knew what you had to play straight. #Sonic3 was wonderful.
When Oddworld Inhabitants were working on Abe's Oddysee, Lorne Lanning fought to have the narration in rhyme to make it more memorable!
Can you still remember any of it? Let us know in the comments! (No cheating 🤣)
PS - This is from the finale video of our Fan Art contest, which you can watch on our YT!

Happy birthday, Soulstorm. What an amazing three years it has been. And thank you to the team for being so kind and supportive.

@RYANtheDRUMMOND@RetroRickTV It is truly wonderful to see you guys hanging out together. I wish back in the day the fans had taken a similar approach! But now we’ve grown up and we love you all.
@lorne_lanning -Playing the demo in 1997 and finding that one Mudokon hidden in the dark.
-Rediscovering the series many years later and being able to understand it at last. Binging the games and interviews for a fortnight
- Soulstorm being everything I hoped for.
@lorne_lanning I think Myst might have been the first game I ever played. It came on our 1995 Apple Mac (which I still have and which still works omg). I used to play both it and Riven with my dad. Neither of us were puzzle solvers though, so we just wandered around cluelessly.
@lorne_lanning Cat person here. I LOVE dogs but I like to enjoy them, then give them back to their owners (like grandchildren!) I also like that my cats are slightly more independent. They’re always happy to see me, but I know I can go out for the day and they’ll be fine.
