@Alien090 And the worst thing is, these coercive group members claim to have the moral high ground! So spiteful of them. Keep your head up, you’re leading the way for others who need to hear the truth! Well done, Lots of love x
Pam thought she was molding me.
I was documenting everything.

This quote from Cllr Kim didn’t age well. If her work was completely separate, why has she resigned (effectively immediately) just 6 days after I released a statement condemning their actions? Doesn’t seem ‘separate’ to me…
Cllr Kim Powell, the Lewisham Council's cabinet member for business, works at the church's Catford branch. Cllr Powell says her UCKG work and cllr work are completely separate. https://t.co/ImryAlEk8B
The UCKG has been accused of conducting conversion therapy, controlling members’ lives and coercing people to donate their life savings https://t.co/CsasPREYBD
Just to flag @Suukofficial are doing a protest this Friday 7 Feb 6pm outside @UCKG@UCKG_Groups HQ on 232 Seven Sisters Rd, Finsbury Park.
"We couldn't save Victoria Climbié, but we can save others"
I remember reading about Victoria when I was 6 years old. One of those cases that always stays with you - the systemic failures by social services/local govt, health services, police - leading to the horrendous abuse and murder of this beautiful little girl by her twisted relatives. The UCKG failed her as well.

The Diocese of Southwark, which also participated in the event with UCKG in Sept 2024, has already said it 'deeply regretted' the distress caused by UCKG's involvement in the walk.

The controversial church has been accused of abuse and exploitation by former members, claims denied by UCKG.
The Guardian reported as far back as 2022 claims from former church members who alleged abuse.

Independent Lewisham councillor @tamhauyu asked Labour mayor @Brenda_Dacres if the council would 'apologise' for including Universal Church of the Kingdom of God in an interfaith walk in Sept 2024 at a meeting last week.
Last night at Lewisham Full Council, I asked Mayor @Brenda_Dacres to validate abuse survivors of UCKG (Universal Church of the Kingdom of God), thus following in the footsteps of @SouthwarkCofE's recent apology.
She not only refused - she ignored the concerns and accused me of politicising the issue. Is this the kind of experience survivors can expect from the Council/Safeguarding should they choose to report?
