The new Heads of School for the Michaelmas Term have been announced by @SVS_Headmaster as Sophie Browning and Sam Laird, both Upper Sixth. Each will give speeches to the student body in the Headmaster's Assembly, and perform duties to help the School community whilst in post. 📜

After months of hard work and weeks of waiting, it's A Level results day for our Upper Sixth leavers - congratulations to all those who achieved results that caused smiles such as these. 🎉

The final assembly of the Summer Term saw the presentation of numerous accolades, such as blue gowns, School ties and prizes by @SVS_Headmaster - including the lifting of the Baughan House Competition Cup, this year adorned in yellow for winners Founder's House. 🏆🎗

Our departing Upper Sixth students officially became Old Suttonians at a Leavers' Service in Chapel on Thursday evening. With speeches from Housemasters, prayers from the Chaplain and music from Chapel Choir, @SVS_Headmaster congratulated each leaver in turn. 🎓

Each Midsummer Day since 1957, representatives of Sutton Valence Parish Council have joined us for the Rose Ceremony, 'paying' us the rent of one red rose for the lease of Sutton Valence Village Green for 99 years. 🌹

Such a pleasant 9 minute door-to-door walk between the Prep and Senior @svs_news sites down this country track. Good to pause from life’s busy moments and soak up the nature. The irony of stopping and reaching for device to post on social media is not lost on me this time though!
