jisoo didn't understand why that guy just ran away. From the first glance in the bar, he felt that this guy was it. That's why he went up and tried to get him to drink less. He looked down the bed, exhausted and aching. That guy... he left so hurriedly he took the wrong shirt.

Jisoo. his name was hong jisoo. This was the person supposed to be his groom. Fear, anger, and shame took over him, and he ran out of the hotel the fastest he could. He couldn't understand the confusion in Jisoo's eyes.

There he meets a gentle boy who comforts him without saying anything. He doesn't remember much afterwards, except when he asked for that boy's name on the bed.

The next morning, his family freaks out at his disappearance, searching frantically, but they can't find him. Seungcheol waits by himself in the church, watching time tick by and the crowd rustling. The shame creeps up. An hour after when the wedding should've started, he leaves.

Jisoo doesn't say anything that day, but once the night dawns, he secretly walks out of his apartment and wanders in the streets. He gets a room in a hotel, and stays there for the night.

but Jisoo had never known about this marriage, he only knew that his parents called him and he had to get back to Korea. He didn't get a warm welcome home, instead he gets the news that he's going to be married the next day, to a man he's barely seen.

Jisoo was sent to America to study since when he was young, and the two had only met when they were really young. Seungcheol couldn't have any objections to his marriage, his life was already all plannes out.

jisoo and seungcheol's family arranged their marriage to strengthen the bond between the two families for diplomatic reasons.
Seungcheol was the heir to his family's company. Jisoo was the younger child of his family.
