We, like Marcellus Williams’ son, are holding onto hope for a miracle today.
@GovParsonMO, stopping this execution would not only honor the pleas of prosecutors, the victim’s family, and those who know Marcellus—it would also show respect for the dignity of Black life.
@GovParsonMO this is unfair if you execute an innocent man, I hope you never get any sleep. If you do this with all the evidence that has been presented. This is unfair on all accounts.
With so little time until #MarcellusWilliams is set to be executed tomorrow, Sept. 24th at 6 p.m., our best tool is our voice. We must make as much noise as possible in these final hours, as public pressure can make all the difference in the moments leading up to an execution.
Please, email, tweet or call Gov. Parson (@GovParsonMO) RIGHT NOW at 417-373-3400 and URGE him to step in and prevent Marcellus’ execution. https://t.co/2wq41v09Hj
