Kendrick wasnt the one being sued, wasnt obligated to prove anything, n had no reason to entertain it. Prtecting your familys privacy isnt evidence of guilt.

He said it’s not a classic, and I agree, I just think it is a cult classic. I think there is a difference.between classic and cult classics

@BrendanSpiegel_ @2004Buckeye I agree, good production and elite rapping. I just don’t think he pushed any boundaries with it or did anything new. That’s usually what I look for but that’s just my personal preference. People saying it’s the best hip hop project of all time is a bit much though.

The difference between Section .80 and GKMC is that GKMC is a universal hip hop true classic while Section .80 is more of a cult classic (not a bad thing at all) , it’s a stepping stone to what he would become.

If I have a mentor (family or not) giving me pointers on cadence or phrasing , it does not equate to ghost writing. Giving someone a melody is collaborative, not ghost writing.

I’m at the point where I wnt to trash talk this albm just to spite Cole fans. Can we stop with the hyperbolic bs? It’s in the Top 3 Hip Hop albums of ALL TIME!?! ??? It’s a good album but do you know how many albums it has to beat for top 3 of all time? Stans piss me off.

@JACOB_VSTGN_BIF @SantttiMuks Dude, it was a good look from J Cole but even Cole said he was unlikely to be the only person to point Dot out to Dre. Not only that but Kendrick was with TDE way before that, let’s not act like he wasnt gonna make it. Talent like that doesn’t go unnoticed.
