Source: Nick Bosa has agreed to a five-year, $170 million extension with the San Francisco 49ers, including $122.5 million guaranteed, by a wide margin. It will make him the highest-paid defensive player in history.
@Philly_Mike25@kb_973 Bottom line: It was a smart move solely because we’ve seen promising Cowboys’ seasons go up in smoke due to a QB injury. This opportunity popped up suddenly and they grabbed it. Good move. Lance wasn’t acquired to replace Prescott, period.
@RGIII Even though I agree that Dak is heavily scrutinized (as any Dallas QB would be), this trade has more to do with the fact that the Cowboys have been weak at backup for many years. They have had very good seasons upended by injuries to Romo & Prescott, so this is a good investment.
@gmfb I’m a Cowboys fan, and I would vote Eli in. Sometimes it’s a glaring stat that hangs people up (interceptions). In spite of that, his leadership, toughness, and football IQ made Eli and his fellow teammates champions. Twice.
@hammergrip@jasrifootball The Chicago Blackhawks have the easiest pivot if they wanted to shift away from Native American imagery and logos. Just separate the word to Black Hawks. Use a hawk logo and done. Chiefs in KC? “Chiefs” with a firefighting theme logo: Axe head instead of arrowhead. Easy.
@DrunkBEDARD @jasrifootball Washington Football Team is the dumbest name in the history of the NFL. I know it was an interim “pause until ready” name, and that is all it served a purpose for. No owner would choose to spend money trying to market that in America.
@jasrifootball For one it was never a good name, regardless of its insensitivity. But, I understand that “Commanders” is an uninspired name, so nostalgia easily beats it. How about trying a better name; one that fits DC and feels like it belongs. “Redskins” wasn’t even DC’s to begin with.
