We can't all drive EV's. We need mass transit, walkable cities, bike lanes and we need to revolutionize our work systems to support remote work, local work and yes—LESS WORK for a sustainable future.
This documentary has nothing to do with "woke culture." It has EVERYTHING to do with having a planet capable of supporting civilization and life as we know it.
Please watch it. Please talk about it.
@ThomasBeyer @crazy_girl2346 @TomZychowski @HeatherEveNicho@faisal_moola@thenarwhalca@photobracken Point two: Each Indigenous person, especially people from specific NATIONS on their NATIONS territory, has individual aboriginal rights to specific land uses and land that those uses are tied to. They should never have to protest, each one has the individual right to be there.
@ThomasBeyer @crazy_girl2346 @TomZychowski @HeatherEveNicho@faisal_moola@thenarwhalca@photobracken It was not invaded by millions and not defended, this is a very uninformed opinion. It was allowed by indigenous people to be gradually co-inhabited by very small groups of underprepared settlers. This is especially true of BC. It is unceded territory, all parties agree.
@ellisbross Every indigenous person, singular, has hunting, fishing, and traditional use rights. Especially on unceded territory. If there was one person in the bush practicing their rights then all Indigenous people should stand up for that person. That's their right. Period.

@CaffeineSociali@Alberta_UCP They cut our consultation funding and congratulated us on the fact that there's less red tape. 3-4 fulltime positions worth of red tape in our case. Yay alberta...
@Andy_von_Busse@sjb1971sjb@Alberta_UCP it's not duplication. It's removing environmental protections to make it easier to get projects approved. Which is a monumentally dumb idea which has led to further alienation of Alberta and it's resources. have fun with that...
@albertarulez@AMemphys@Alberta_UCP Specifically in this case red tape means environmental protections, water protection, Indigenous consultation, reports from biologists and so on. Some of these things are also the reason that the international investing community is limiting and pulling back on Alberta.
@Brendonvanhierd @jkenney What actions by a few led to the abuse of many through residential schools? Please enlighten. It's not a few people in the catholic church. The whole history of the catholic church is violence and persecution of people with any other beliefs.
