Jesus christ. I think I need to turn to alcohol or drugs or therapy or SOMETHING. I had seen the AMOC overturning warnings, but I had not seen this graph. I though somehow mostly the North Atlantic and Europe would be affected, but no, it's global boiling.

🚨 BREAKING: The King and Prince William are using their estates "largely seized by medieval monarchs" for tax-free deals with government departments to maintain their wealth
The King will charge a London NHS Trust over £11 million in 15 years for ambulance parking at a duchy warehouse, while the Ministry of Justice pays £1.5m a year to William's duchy for Dartmoor prison

Knowing for the past few weeks that this moment was fast approaching didn’t make it any less heartbreaking to hear the news early this morning that Janey had died.
Janey Godley truly was a force of nature, and one of the funniest people I have ever known. I was able to visit her in the hospice a couple of weeks ago and though she was fragile, she still had me in stitches.
Janey was also incredibly kind. And she made the world a better place.
A bond was forged between us in the darkest days of Covid when her famous voiceovers of my daily briefings went viral. In the toughest of times, she made people laugh - and that was precious. She did more that that though. In managing to project the serious public health messages of my briefings to a much wider audience than I would have managed alone, she helped save lives.
The photos on this post are from an event we did together last year - it was a special night.
I was so proud to call Janey a friend and will miss her hugely. My heart goes out to her family and many friends - they are in my thoughts today.
I know Frank will have been there, holding the door for her as she went - with a tear in his eye, as I have in mine. RIP my friend ❤️
Comedian Janey Godley has died, aged 63. Over the past few years she has been actively sharing her feelings on social media about her ovarian cancer diagnosis, how she was coping with treatment and all the mixed emotions that came with it. RIP Janey.
GB Energy will not have its own headquarters in Aberdeen. Labour's publicly-owned energy company – which is set to invest in energy projects – will instead be based in a building which is shared with oil companies.

We are all deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Paul Di'Anno earlier today. Paul's contribution to Iron Maiden was immense and helped set us on the path we have been travelling as a band for almost five decades. His pioneering presence as a frontman and vocalist, both on stage and on our first two albums, will be very fondly remembered not just by us, but by fans around the world.
“It’s just so sad he’s gone,” comments Steve Harris. “I was in touch with him only recently as we texted each other about West Ham and their ups and downs. At least he was still gigging until recently, it was something that kept him going, to be out there whenever he could. He will be missed by us all. Rest in peace mate ⚒⚒.”
We were very grateful to have had the chance to catch up a couple of years ago and to spend time with him once more. On behalf of the band, Rod and Andy, and the whole Iron Maiden team, we extend our deepest sympathies to Paul's family and close friends. Rest In Peace Paul.
The Acorn project in Peterhead, the UK's leading Carbon Capture site, was overlooked by the Tories who funded two sites in England.
Now, Labour has done the same, funding two more sites in England, ignoring Scotland's ambitions.
New UK Government? Same difference to Scotland.
Major rift within Scottish Labour over the winter fuel payment cut. A former leader and deputy leader siding with the SNP to demand a U-turn. Six MSPs absent from the vote. Five weeks ago Lynsey Bews laughably said the SNP was fractured. How ridiculous does she look now?
Today, @theSNP voted to demand Labour UK Government urgently reinstate the Winter Fuel Payment to 880k Scottish pensioners.
Regrettably, 14 Labour MSPs voted against the motion, confirming they support the decision to cut the vital payment.
Does Ian Murray now answer to the UK Govt's new envoy to Scotland Sue Gray? Sarwar is now fourth in the colonial pecking order which appears to be ...
1. Keir Starmer
2. Sue Gray
3. Ian Murray
4. Anas Sarwar
‘Nations and Regions’ is now a place that people are sent when they are sacked by 10 Downing Street under Labour. Can you hear the pennies dropping in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?
