The devil hates the Sabbath, and he will do everything and anything to get rid of it and get between you and God. Every time you keep the Sabbath, you make a declaration. God is your Creator, your Redeemer, and the One your loyalty belongs to.

Happy Sabbath.

Before you get on with your day, take some time to thank God. It's a new month, and you're only in it because of Him. What a good and faithful God He is (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Jesus rested in the tomb on the Sabbath, then rose on the first day of the week in victory over sin and death. This Sabbath, take time to reflect on His gift of salvation for you and His offer of everlasting life. Happy Sabbath!

[ELLEN G. WHITE @E_G_WHITE]

God would have the Sabbath kept as a day of rest and spiritual devotion; and any careless inattention in reference to this is displeasing to Him. {12LtMs, Ms 57, 1897, par. 3}

[Adventist Church @adventistchurch]

People-pleasing can be a dangerous trap that causes us to sacrifice our beliefs and values to gain approval from others. As Christians, we're called to live as ambassadors of Christ who continually put Him first.

The Sabbath points them to the works of creation as an evidence of His mighty power in redemption. While it calls to mind the lost peace of Eden, it tells of peace restored through the Saviour. {DA 289.1}

[ELLEN G. WHITE @E_G_WHITE]

To all who receive the Sabbath as a sign of Christ’s creative and redeeming power, it will be a delight. Seeing Christ in it, they delight themselves in Him. {DA 289.1}

Be still this Sabbath and let God’s love renew your heart. His peace is waiting for you. Happy Sabbath!

God’s blessings are poured upon His children as they worship Him every Sabbath. He makes us channels to bless others throughout the week.

[Adventist Church @adventistchurch]

The Sabbath is the best day to learn about God and His ways. Then, with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can do His will every day.

[ELLEN G. WHITE @E_G_WHITE]

Since He made all things, He made the Sabbath. By Him it was set apart as a memorial of the work of creation. It points to Him as both the Creator and the Sanctifier. {DA 288.2}
