J’ai eu la chance de discuter quelques minutes avec Rania, la mère de Michael Hage, après le match intra-équipe disputé hier matin à Brossard.

Évidemment, elle était très heureuse de voir son fils connaître autant de succès durant le match. Rappelons que Michael Hage a inscrit deux buts et ajouté une passe, avant de couronner sa prestation avec un superbe but en tirs de barrage.

Elle m’a également confié que son fils avait choisi de retourner à l’Université du Michigan la saison prochaine en raison de la blessure qu’il a subie lors des séries de la NCAA. Selon lui, cette blessure a quelque peu ralenti son développement. Il souhaite donc disputer une autre saison dans les rangs universitaires afin de poursuivre sa progression et de peaufiner les différents aspects de son jeu.

Malgré tout, sa mère demeure très confiante de le voir porter l’uniforme du Canadien dès le mois d’avril prochain. De son côté, Michael veut arriver dans la LNH dans les meilleures conditions possibles.

Pour terminer, je tiens à souligner sa gentillesse et son humilité, tout en la remerciant de m’avoir généreusement accordé quelques minutes de son temps.

Pretty insane to see Habs fans asking for Marty St. Louis to get fired.

He has his squad in the conference final after beating two strong teams in Lightning and Sabres. Carolina is a relentless wagon that clearly has more gas in the tank from playing nearly half as much hockey in the playoffs so far. The Habs are just running out of gas.
